Fresh and elegant, fruit forward with low tannins. Good acidity balances out the 15% alcohol. Tasted even better day 2 — 5 years ago

Killer. Tiny bit of va. Reminds us a lot of Cobb stuff. — 6 months ago

Not ready yet, tight and aromatics not open for business. Getting hints next day. Thankfully not much VA. — 3 years ago

A perpetual favorite. And most vintages age. But I drink this too fast. Only the 2013 never made it.

Glad you gave it a try! What vintage....was it a single-batch year? Love to compare to my cellar notes :)

Ron, it was 2014, bought it at the winery after a tasting a few years' back.

Wow, nice! Probably a 2011 or ‘12 vintage, eh? I am sure the vibrant acid was still fresh? What did you pair your bottle with, if you don’t mind me asking :)

Château Musar

Bekaa Valley Red Blend 2016

What a joy to find this bottle at a NYC steakhouse. It’s been a while. Initially turned on by these ancient Lebanese vineyards and organic practices. And blending fruit that we are Las Jaras use. Drinking well for being a ‘16. VA a bit high but reminiscent of some wilder Barolo — 3 years ago

I love it. Carnal, wild - my favorite of Bea’s reds as the alcohol is balanced. VA is present and borders on too much but doesn’t get there — 5 years ago
