Lovely orange wine from Tuscany! High acid light tannins. Amazing by it self but I’d pair it with a citrus tuna crudo — 3 months ago
Medium bodied and a green/yellow color indicate some softening, but the wine itself is very green and fruit forward, green figs (but just the vegetal smell), with some acidity and notes of yellow fruit rind, crisp mountain air, grassy notes, and a slight baking note, like pastry, hidden away underneath. Palate is crisp, dry, with a balanced acidity, lots of limestone, crisp yellow fruits, maybe some yellow grapefruit, celery hints, lemon juice tartness, and an emerging grassy energy that starts to swell long after the sip is complete. Dry to the end, but not bitterly so, very nice. — 4 months ago

Golden apple, pear flavors. Medium bodied great acid. Well done. — 2 months ago
2023 vintage. Light-medium/medium body. Gorgeous color. Musky, mountain morning nose. Plenty of flavors in the palate bouncehaus but none of them fall completely out and are forced to wait out a turn. Nice balance framed with intrigue. Existing acidity cuts through cream sauces or garlic butter but pleasant enough to tackle on its own. Very unexpected and the nice price (< $20 USD). Will keep this one on the short list. 4.1.26. — 3 months ago

Paolo Bea dinner at Semo. All wines were prepared by opening and slow-ox, prior to service. Abbreviated notes due to the setting. The 2020 Lapideus pours a hazy straw color with notes of undigested hay, black lemon, Brachs butterscotch, white and yellow flowers, and some tarragon. The palate shows low+ tannin and acid works well with the halibut crudo. Drink now through 2035. Bottle No. 800/2610 — 5 months ago
Exceptional quality!! Blend is primarily Garganega that is rounded out with small amounts of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Trebbiano. Pale straw color. Plentiful aromas of tropical fruit, white flowers, wet slate and a light touch of smoke. Flavors of peach, cantaloupe, lemon zest and raw nuts. Beautiful volcanic mineral/saline thread on the long lasting and crisp finish. Medium bodied with a slightly waxy/mouth coating texture. Rich and savory. So hard to put down. Thanking Petey and Kase for selecting this beautiful Father’s Day wine. — 9 days ago

Costco. Very bright and sharp, but potentially ok on it’s own, shines with richer dishes — a month ago

2023 vintage. Medium body. This showed well at the FLB (Friday Lunch Bunch) weekly affair. Some sleekness. Some exoticism. Some mineralité. 6.26.26. — 4 days ago
