So consistent. Lovely texture and weight, without being OTT.. very well executed. Pineapple and meyer lemons create urgency on the mid-palate. This is an innovative variation on chard. Take a look, you may be surprised. — a year ago
This has further improved since I last tasted it. Much more enjoyable, since it’s developed more urgency. Much more vibrant and delineated. — 2 years ago
Not ready for prime-time just yet, but that didn’t prevent us from committing the felony.
Pale straw color in the glass links up with lemon curd and a hint of gooseberries. Robust acidity frames this up nicely. Finishes taught and with urgency. Drinking the best wines in the world can be a little like fumbling around in the dark. But with this, I can see in the dark. — 3 years ago

I agree with @Jeff Shapiro, very impressed with this IPA which jumped from my glass with urgency and bright citrus notes. 8.5 abv took me hostage for a while… — 4 years ago
Whoa! Piercing, riveting and laser focused. Such balance, yet displays dominance, particularly on the mid palate. So fresh and lively. Zippy acidity with granite notes. Creates a sense of urgency right through to the citrus-note finish. Hold these for a while. A stunner of a chard. — 6 years ago
In an amazing place. Nose has some reduction which will blow off but man o man that palate. The acid is just so intense and layered, juicy and explosive fruit like you cannot believe. Just cracking! So tasty. It’s got an urgency on the palate that makes this so special. Sappy for days and unreal velvety and mineral drenched tannins. My goodness this is brilliant. Nose has some smoke and leather as well. Unreal freshness. I mean the freshness is like young dry Riesling. Genius stuff and in the window. Let’s see what air does. — 2 years ago

Exploded from the bottle and created an immediate sense of urgency on the mid palate. Zesty and zippy with textured notes of pineapple and limes. Excellent presentation. I — 2 years ago
Label is alright. Euro style kinda. Not sure what a net has to do with the urgency name. This is aged a bit for CA Zin. Still a pretty dark hue. Blackberry skins. Smells good. Herbal tonic, cola, smoke, and fruits. Flavors are balanced and way less fruit forward than expected for Lake County. Cola (kinda Cherry Coke) but the good stuff in that. Not sweet. Savory. But slightly jammy. This is more of a coastal Zin style. Elegant. Winery is listed as Nice, CA. Wine is also nice. — 3 years ago
Really robust and well rounded. Just yum. — 4 years ago
Nice chard! — 4 years ago
Impeccable. Citrus explosion on the nose. Palate is mineral-driven, with freshly squeezed limes, and a hint of lanolin. The acidity helps generate a sense of urgency on the mid-palate, coupled with a cold steel note. Wonderful with ceviche - The Fulton at Jean Georges. — 6 years ago
This was a beauty, just as we had expected. Just creates more urgency on the front and mid-palate than the regular cabernet. Finishes with style and elegance. Another reserve that shows its pedigree. Worth the cost of entry in my mind. — 10 months ago
Florida Avenue Brewing Company ‘The Lantern’ Imperial Pumpkin Ale. Pumpkin-amber color of ale extends to head which undulates as dissolving eyes lace into spooky reaching claw and ghost flame afterlace. Cinnamon-apple nose fades to expose a cauldron of pumpkin spice and butternut, spaghetti, and acorn squash, and finally the gourd lord, pumpkin. Bourbon strikes the palate first with a caramel and cedar urgency, leaving a tannic mark. Nutmeg and allspice roll about the floor, kicking up the bud-covered rug. What this lacks in creaminess, it exerts in agro spice. I’m on the fence with this one, and make no mistake, I am impaled there. I want to try this one in a year! I think it deserves that. See you next year! Happy haunting.

I just found this hiding in our cellar, given the age on the wine, I thought that this would need to be dispatched with urgency. I could not have been further from how it actually presented.
The nose is lively and almost raucous. Loads of cherry jam and cinnamon. The palate is dense and compact, showing absolutely no signs of aging. Cherries, cedar and sweet jam are joined by powerful tannins. I’m floored as to how well this has presented. Kudos to the winery. — 3 years ago
We really enjoy the relatively high dosage used by this producer, but a tartness is present which acts as a counter-balance.
Nose presents roasted nuts and toast. Palate is mineral-driven and energetic. Notes of meyer lemon and biscotti compete with the urgency of the profile of the wine - and this is day 2. — 4 years ago

Anniversary celebration in Jamaica. Does not get better than this as I’m with my soulmate ♥️
Day 2 and this picked up some urgency and a touch more character. Increased the score as a result. — 4 years ago

Youthful purple. Expressive, spice- and mineral-accented cherry and dark berry aromas reveal an emerging floral top-note and a hint of vanilla. Sappy and alluringly sweet, offering palate-staining red/blue fruit preserve, candied violet, spice-cake and mocha flavors that deftly marry richness to energy. Deepens with air while maintaining urgency, and closes extremely long and spicy, with gentle tannic grip and resonating blue fruit and floral notes.
