2019 vintage. 65% merlot. 30% cab franc. 5% cab sauv. Medium-medium/heavy body. Good earthiness throughout the nose and flavor profile. A bit chunky with some immediate richness at the start and dwindling softness at the end. Solid effort. Not spectacular by any means but reminiscent of a friend’s labrador. Just won’t stop trying to become your new best friend and enough personality and performance to possibly succeed. 9.4.25. — 2 months ago

Blend of Merlot (65%), Cabernet Sauvignon (25%), Cabernet Franc (3%) and Petite Verdot (3%). Dark and murky garnet color. Aromas of violets, forest floor and black fruit with a touch of graphite. Flavors of red plum and blackberry fruit with hints of tobacco and dark chocolate. Medium finish and body with reasonably well polished dusty tannins. Nicely structured. Solid.value. — a month ago
[65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon] Medium-dark purple color, mineral and dark fruit aromas and flavors, also quite structured and tight, very good depth and length, drinks well but seems to want another 5-10 years of cellaring (2016 vintage effect?). . . . — 3 months ago
It is time for some Merlot on this #MerlotThursday. Let's bring Merlot back!
Deep purple in color with a wide reddish rim.
Beautiful nose of sweet cherries, black plums, blueberries, Indian spices, cedar, licorice, chocolates, herbs, light earth, black pepper, tobacco and light black tea.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with cooked cherries, currants, plums, spices, cedar, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco leaf, herbs, peppercorn, earth, dark chocolates and black coffee.
Long finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This delicious 8-year-old Merlot from Napa Valley is drinking beautifully now. Elegant and fruit forward. Soft and complex.
Needs an hour in the decanter to open up properly and show the complexity. Will continue to age nicely in the next few years.
Nicely balanced and spicy with a soft mouthfeel. I had this vintage a few times before, and it is always tasty.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, and paired nicely with the Italian beef Prosciutto.
A blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.
14.4% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Very good but didn’t blow me away like earlier vintages. Flavor profile and drinkability as a pop and pour wine are all there and worth the price - I’ve just grown to expect more from Synergy 65. — 5 days ago
