2018 with homemade pizza - solid wine — a month ago
This is a version of Primitivo quite different to what we are used in Italy.
I am sure it has its lovers
6 months in French oak and 6 in American oak too
The wine has a deep colour
Multitude of spices over a big fruit.
It is a step away from a Barossa wine and two away from a classic Primitvo.
But it is definitely long and mouth fulling.

Another winner. Dark red fruit. Farm funk. Paired with tuna — 2 months ago
This is now the “Trevie” @Delectable though it’s been called “Tre Vigne” in the past? Dark red fruits and fine grained tannins that are well balanced. Italian to the core. Hard to go wrong with this producer. 14.5% abv. but wears it well. — a month ago

Very unique. Wasn’t sure at first. Almost too herbal and tannic initially. High Al traits too. But w some air, it definitely grew on me. the extreme herbal notes and al mellowed. The tannins didn’t. But the high acidity seemed to make it balanced. Esp w the braised beef pasta. Definitely try again because it’s so unique. It’s basically their basic wine on roids. But not as fruit forward. — 8 days ago
