The 2019 Pinot Noir Campbell Ranch is fabulous. Complex and multi-dimensional, the 2019 is dynamic and super-expressive. Rose petal, lavender, spice, sage and mint play off a core of dark red/purplish berry fruit. This is a terrific Pinot from the northern part of the West Sonoma Coast. Tangerines, pink grapefruit , and peaches w yellow cherries and sweet strawberries on the finish. Really enjoyable and refreshing. — 6 years ago
For an entry level appellation west coast Pinot, this is right down the middle of the fairway. Ruby in the glass with cedar, birch wood, sweet cherry and cola on the nose. The palate is a bit darker bringing on sweet tobacco, black cherry and a rhubarb tart spice. I think this is $45’ish/bottle, so in terms of QPR, I’ll buy Rivers-Marie SC bottle all day over this, and while I’m not with AGalloni’s 93 rating, I’m not too far off. — 8 years ago

Aaron has produced a textbook Pinot with his Derbyshire Vineyard Pinot. It’s refined but not subtle. It’s fruit is in check. Paired with Mexican, pizza and pork chops. — 5 years ago
Light and citrusy sparkling wine that has a slight taste of a dry cider. — 6 years ago

Mild dark berries on the nose. Old world dusty berries in the middle with with a dark berry finish. — 6 years ago
Purchased a bottle from the reserve list at the winery earlier this year. Consumed with miso sablefish and lentils with cherries and basil. Rich golden hue, cloudy honeycomb-like. Nose is like dried leaves and cider mill, fall like aromas. Hints of petrol & citrus. This just explodes with bitter apricot, citrus, intense acidity. Complex layers keep coming. Orange juice and zest in a sweet morning bun. Oxidative nuttiness like toasted salted almonds. Super long finish. Amazing stuff. — 6 years ago

Dark purple color, very youthful, iodine, smoke, cool climate aroma and flavor profile, excellent acidity, long, lingering finish, very nice! — a month ago
