The 2016 showed nice ripe fruits and falls into style of the other 2016’s I have tasted. Not as complex as the other vintages but a nice elegant wine.

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with red and black fruits, cedar, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco and herbs.
Long finish with fine grained tannins.
This is a delicious Merlot from Santa Clara Valley in California. Rich, yet elegant.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.
Good by itself, and will also pair nicely with a big piece of steak.
A blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec. Aged for 36 months in oak barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

From a 5 Bordeaux grape blend: 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 2.5% Cabernet Franc, 2.3% Petit Verdot & 0.3% Malbec, aged 24 months French oak, 85% new, Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe dark fruits, cedar and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and currants with notes of herbs, pepper spice and earthy notes. Fine sweet tannins, long finish ending with cacao, smoky oak, fruit and mineral tang. Very nice, aging well, but time will reward! — a day ago

Very dark Ruby, purple edges with floral fruit aromas and floral spice. A truly beautiful, deeply ruby garnet wine! Typical young Bordeaux on the nose that explodes in the glass with graphite, tar, and oak flavors on the palette. Tasted immediately after de-corking and the wine was tight but the transformation after 24 hours in the bottle was profound. This vintage lives up to the standard for a great Margaux - and for a much better price point! — 5 months ago
