Original price tag, this Crozes-Hermitage is really remarkable (I believe La Guiraude is a special cuvée?), meaty, smoky, classic aged French Syrah, long finish, amazingly this was the most ready to drink of these wines I’ve been posting tonight, and the favorite of at least one of our 6 tasters tonight!! With all that said, if anyone has bottles of this wine, it’s fully mature. — 15 hours ago
This is just doing great. Aromatics were great on popping but they faded fast which is the only downside. It’s got great acidity and a nice long finish that sticks around. Listening to America the Beautiful :) Happy 4th! — 2 months ago
Fruit and earth and heme and amazing tannins and just a hint of Brett. Quite lovely though. Could certainly have aged longer but I didn’t feel like waiting. — 6 days ago
Drinking beautifully! At its apogee, wafting a spiced red fruit, black tea and potpourri perfume with a generously structured but ethereal palate, fine grained tannins and superb persistence. Very expressive and in a great spot. — 5 days ago
