boys nite. Very classical napa valley. nose is better than palate. blue fruit, opulent, mineral. now i know my type of wine is one with cabernet, merlot, can franc. comparable to pomerol. just get the cheaper one you can find — 3 months ago
The Crown Gap has never been my favorite from them. Still solid. Also, needs 3-4 more years in bottle to integrate. 91+ with that kind of age.
The Truffle Mac & Cheese was a big hit with the crowd, I’m allergic to mushrooms.

The ticket to this event has a pretty big price tag. But when you consider what a Napa etc. tasting or two and lunch would cost you, you are pretty much there and there is so much more than that. It ends up having great value. It’s wine, spirits and food candy land. — a month ago
Definitely need a moment to catch his breath. It opened up the chewy and savory fruit and wonderful structure, but it actually faded pretty quickly, after an hour the wine started to lose of its life and all of those flavors sort of simmer down into just a good ripe round juicy Pinot. But for about 45 minutes there there’s a window where this wine was absolutely delicious. — 4 months ago
I don't like Pinot Noir and this was awesome — a month ago
This is, excuse me, a damn fine bottle of wine.
Worn leather, cigar smoke, and vanilla on the nose. Intense palate of overripe blackberry and cassis. Powerful but well integrated oak. Very long, complex finish.
Drank while watching a fan edit of Fire Walk With Me. Needs a solid decant. — 2 months ago
Really great Pinot. Well developed and classic Sonoma — 5 months ago
