Oh. Mein. Gott. Ich liebe diese auslese. Yum yum. 19/8-2023 — a year ago
Bernkastel wine festival! Dry Riesling in every sense, smell of wet slate (less of petrol), soaring acidity and medium body with a long finish. Crisp and clean with minerality and acidity dominant, minimal fruit flavors. — 5 years ago
Generous nose of petrol & orchard fruit, cotton candy, quite decadent… some slate & Earth driven elements leading to equally impressive mid palate w/same orchard - all ripe and tinged w/powdered sugar. Round in the Mosel style, silky lithe yet zippy leading to finish w/just a hint of RS. In the pocket now — 4 months ago
Mild. Honey, apple, wet stone and something else... Very relaxing. — 2 years ago
Reductive, yeasty nose opens to a generous mouthful of ripe peach, pineapple, gooseberry, white flowers, minerals. Supple texture, fine acid structure, and a long, just dry enough intricate finish. Gorgeous now and has 10+ years more potential. — 4 years ago
@Delectable Wine - This is the Halbtrocken. Color looks like permafrost-preserved wooly mammoth piss. In a good way. Unique style to say the least. Nose has loads of tart green apple, a sprightly herbal note, and pungent crushed stone. Very dry for a Halbrtrocken. Zingy acids and a flume of minerality. Amazingly youthful. — a year ago
Tekniskt halvtorr men dricker torrt. Extremt balanserad sockerhalt. Syran och fräschören man tar med sig i avslutet. Mycket stenfrukt, päron, citronolja och pepparmint. Vaknade till ordentligt efter 30 min i glaset. — 5 years ago
