This is drinking really nice right now. Great mature fruit. Drink while it's at peak. Very nice upside surprise on a regional (vs vineyard) designated wine. Prost! — a month ago
This was sailing… meaty nose of rich burnt ends coupled with plum jam. Palate was viscous and mineral driven. S little too much acidity with a slightly citrus finish. Nice juxtaposition with the Siro, but this was always destined for second place tonight. — 12 days ago

Beautiful Syrah. Cranberry and leather and earth. So complex. Earth and red fruit nose. A paradigm of Syrah. — 8 days ago
Light on the nose and medium body finish / very delicate flavor but rich notes of maybe vanilla, definitely black cherry, leather, hints of earthy tones. Delicious — a day ago
Pop and pour WOW. Old world dried flowers on the nose. Elegant on the palate with balance of acidity and soft tannins - that linger on the front and middle of the tongue. More layers of flavors than I can describe with roses, mixed berries, clove, leather, tobacco, etc., and none were dominant. What a pleasant surprise. — a month ago

Umbria on my drinking through my book on Italian wines. Like the white, unique regional wine made of 70% sangiovese, 15% typical red varietal of Abruzzo, 15% particular vine native to Montefalco. I'm going to guess these latter two are montepulciano and sagrantino, but clearly they didn't want us to know for sure.
Classic cherry profile of sangiovese with funkiness and earthiness. Bits of dried fruit. — 6 days ago
