Light. Wanted to be a Burgundy but didn’t have that otherworldly perfume. — 2 months ago
No formal notes. Some dolcettos are fun loving, gum chewing kids; this is decidedly not, more like a middle aged professional going out for a joy ride. Which is to say: more emphasis on the black fruited, darker dimensions of this varietal. . Still more about the fruit & grip, absolutely feather like tannins if any, & joyful. — 23 days ago
Nice easy drinking red. Good with the Bolognese pizza and the rather spicy ricotta gnocchi. — 9 days ago
Cherries, smooth tannins. — a month ago
Nose - soil, wet stone and petrichor/rainy day. Main flavors - delicate stone fruit like plum, cherry and an after taste of fruit pits. Mouthfeel - silky upfront and the a little bit of acid and zing on the back. Really approachable wine. Don’t sleep on dolcetto! Lovely wine. — 2 months ago
