Still relatively youthful with a medium-dark purple color, as @Tom Casagrande said three years ago, ripe vintage, soft tannins, relatively lower acidity, lingering finish, I’d guess this is at or near maturity (so I need to drink up the remaining bottles in the next few years, overall solid Moulin-a-Vent!!
(Oh, and this was in a box with the final 3 bottles I purchased of 1983 Chateau Fonsalette “Cuvée Syrah”, which I’ll let stand up for a while to settle the apparent copious sediment!) — 14 days ago

“La Rochelle” is a 5ha lieu-dit in Moulin-à-Vent with a reputation for making wines that have great potential for aging. This is but a wee babe. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Slightly better on Day 2. The 2022 pours a ruby purple with medium viscosity and some staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe red and black fruit: desiccated raspberries, black cherry, pomegranate, flowers, dried herbs, a touch of barnyard, warm spices, and rocky earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and slightly spicy. This is really high quality juice. Bravo. Drink now through 2042. — a year ago

Bought this 2020 cru at $50. While in Cleveland. Was assured it was worth every penny it and it is outstanding. Crushed dark fruits including fig with spices. Juniper, pine, camphor oil, leather and bitter orange peel. Truly one of the biggest and most complex Moulin a Vents I’ve ever had. A wintry wine for roasted foods. Has easily another 5 years ahead of it. — 6 months ago

On the nose : Fresh honeysuckle with a touch of elderflower, broiled lemon, soft cheddar and bubbling spring with roasted pear which follows through on the palate with the elderflower and the honeysuckle, as well as young kiwi. Has almost a sake like texture with encompassing weight but is light at the same time. The weight dissipates while the flavor lingers. High acidity that is incredibly balanced — 6 years ago

Anyone who thinks Bojo does not age never tasted this wine. Beautiful aromas of dried black cherry, cranberry and smoke. My palate was assaulted with flavors of black & red cherries, cinnamon, spice and minerals. Plenty of acid despite the warm year. So obvious it was made by a Burgundy producer. N; like violet pastilles. Swampy funk, blows off, stones, interesting blue/black
with a touch of garrigue.
P:Lithe, somewhat saline upon entry,
trips over the tongue, such nice mouthfeel. Blackberries, slightly prickly tannins, this wine could go 10 more years. The panoply of flavors hints at tomato leaf, black fruits, with that ever present chewy tannin structure lurking.
Mind you, we PnP this one.
