Hailing from Languedoc, this white has a similar profile to that of a Rhoné white blend. No idea of the blend, but the nose presents honey, apricot and dried herbs. The palate suggests that viognier is in the mix. Big notes of lychees and passion fruit are bold and strong, along with the oak, which I consider to be a little too prominent. Acidity is lacking, and this comes across a little too smooth. Still a good effort, just dial back on the oak treatment. — 4 years ago

Biodynamic Chardonnay from Steiermark.
Cloudy, smokey, yeasty, sappy, fresh!
Bruised apples, ripe lemons, underripe pineapple, green mango. Plus some hay, flinty, smokey aromas. Juicy, fresh, enticing.
On the palate with vibrant acidity, with great freshness & depth. Rough around the edges, with a touch of cidery notes, a bit of VA. There’s a creamy touch to the mouthfeel. And a mineral hint. This is ultra drinkable and so delicious. Love it! — 2 years ago
