Morillon vom Opok
Biodynamic Chardonnay from Steiermark.
Cloudy, smokey, yeasty, sappy, fresh!
Bruised apples, ripe lemons, underripe pineapple, green mango. Plus some hay, flinty, smokey aromas. Juicy, fresh, enticing.
On the palate with vibrant acidity, with great freshness & depth. Rough around the edges, with a touch of cidery notes, a bit of VA. There’s a creamy touch to the mouthfeel. And a mineral hint. This is ultra drinkable and so delicious. Love it! — 3 years ago
Mildly oxidized, gorgeously integrated Morillon/Sauvignon Blanc half-half, so brilliantly balanced and contemplative. Zero sulfur. Finally understand “clear and precise” as wine descriptors. — 6 years ago

Enjoyable. Bright and light. Would be a great spring and summer lunch white. Don’t drink this too chilled. — 8 months ago
Very light with notes of apple and honey.
