Love the vintage for Fourrier. 09 Cherbaudes is in a terrific place, showing substantial richness and power with wild red berry and earthy aromatics and a deep, concentrated palate with a lengthy mineral finish. While I prefer the more elegant and detailed Combe aux Moines in this vintage, Cherbaudes is quite delicious and very showy now. — 5 months ago
Smokey and fruity. Thick and rich, rather concentrated for a Gamay. — 5 months ago
Whoa! This is great! And it’s quite a value, too! This is better than some Bordeauxs that cost ten times what this costs. I don’t know how well it will hold up in 10 to 20 more years, but it’s very drinkable now.
Wet, cobblestones and wet leather on the nose. A hint of cassis on the front of the tongue. Medium tannic structure. Flinty high notes on the mid palate and on the finish. No low notes to balance out the high, but otherwise I’m happy with this wine. I’m giving it a 9.5 because it’s my ideal of what a Bordeaux should be. — 3 months ago
Called St Joe Syrah. Fig and plum smoke, beautiful balance. Took this home. — 4 months ago
Wish I could decant this. Oak on the nose, but it hints at the fruit and tobacco/chocolate you're about to taste. Palate has noticeable but not assertive tannins and blends really nicely with the aforementioned flavors. Paired well with dinner but this feels like a pre-dinner sipper. Would buy again. — 5 months ago
Yup a new one to me and it’s well proportioned and lively on palate with well aged ripe fruits and earthy. Tasty! — 7 months ago

New Years Eve dinner - which red wine to drink?! 🤔
Finally settled on an old favorite - Paul Jaboulet Hermitage.
Did not disappoint - smooth, concentrated fruits, with a hint of earthy, charcoal, tobacco.
Nice way to end our wine drinking for 2025, here’s to more great wines in 2026! 🥂 — 6 months ago

Great wine. Definitely worth trying again but I felt this was a bit one dimensional. A lot of pear, white fruit and slight apple, brioche and with slight acidity and but didn't change much after. I tried in 2025 so its 17 years old so maybe its past its peak or its waning but its my first wine of this age so maybe i need to try more. Either way, it's a delicious wine — 7 months ago

Delicious strawberry and peach notes, and the nose, crisp light, pale pink color. 12.5% ABV, which is great for a summer drinker . — a day ago
