Superb, opened 5 750s. Saw big bottle variation, 3 spectacular, 1 off and one really off bottle. Some cork seepage on the lesser btls. Shame…this was worth cellaring, the best on par with the finest super Ts anywhere and aging with light sour cherry, sweet tobacco and old leather notes that were so nice. — 3 days ago

Medium bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing black fruits with wood, earth, vegetables, spices, tobacco leaf, bitter herbs and peppercorn.

Nice finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 14 year old Brunello lost a lot of its fruits at this point. Soft and elegant. Earthy and better with food.

I paired it with a prosciutto and arugula pizza.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

This was awesome! PnP. Dark red color with subtle maroon tones. Cedar, bramble, and rustic elements on the nose. Smells very high quality. Bramble with subtle earth and tobacco on the palate. Nice complexity with tannins that are integrated with a nice sweetness. I’ll be buying some! — 11 days ago

Wine is full bodied, purplish. On nose its violets, black cherries, cheedar, earthy. On palate, its sweet, little spicy, i can taste the brightness from sangiovese buts its more vegal to me. The structure, merlot balanced the syrah so it does mellowed the syrah attack. Long finish, tannic, give it 1 hour decant. Best after 2028.. cheers! 🍷 — 12 days ago
