Rancho Coda Gamay Noir

This was a very fun surprise. At initial bite small but there that Gome usually has. Beautiful clear crystal color, but actually surprisingly had a lot of sediment. Came through well structured, strawberry fading to raspberry and blackberry, good structure, low acid, but not flabby. Definitely will be buying this again. — 2 days ago

Terra di Briganti

Coda di Volpe Benevento Falanghina 2021

Slightly funky, but not extremely so to put you off
Various fruits, quite ripe and mineral vein
It's enjoyable, fairly long and could do well with Middle Eastern food

Cadence

Coda Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2017

Dark reddish purple. Inviting nose and medium-bodied palate of red berries, pomegranate, and a hint of toasted nuts on the moderate finish. Medium tannins. Medium acidity. A most typical example of mid-range Washington. The midpoint between New World fruit (but dark fruit) and Old World structure makes for an excellent American food wine. Pair with anything from burgers to roots to prime rib. Just do so by 2027. — 6 years ago

This seems like more of the style of Mediterranean/southern European whites I enjoy. It has a rich texture combined with crisp fruit notes and sufficient acid to keep things balanced. Lemon curd and wet stones. — 3 years ago

Rancho Coda Gamay Noir 2021

[Gamay Noir Rancho Coda 2021 First Vintage]. High elevation in west Sonoma coast. Heady perfume of rose water, rose petal, strawberry, red cherry, kirsch, the usual carbonic notes, some Brett. High zippy acidity, a little bit of palpable tannic grip - medium minus level. Spritz. Sheer fun. Mild funk on the short finish. To be bottled in a month. — 4 years ago
