Bramaterra Belvedere Nebbiolo Blend 2010

Absolutely delicious. Last had a bit under 4 years ago and the age has served this well, though honestly this could use still more time. Opened for 3 hours and decanted for 1.5, which worked well. Beautiful dark aromatics on the nose. Intensity of fruit on the palate with a long acid driven finish. Tannins are still quite present but with pork chops with a mustardy sauce this paired nicely. Really enjoyed. — 12 days ago

Le Piane

Maggiorina vino rosso 2021

Medium Ruby with aromas of berry fruits and spicy notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and red plum with pepper spice, floral and herbs. Fine tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy mineral character. Nice now! — 6 months ago

Colline Novaresi Croatina Nebbiolo 2015

Nose: earthy. Blackberry. Bramble.

Palate: fresh. Vibrant. Rustic in a fun way.

An amazing version of what it is.

Munaloss Nebbiolo Blend 2023

Alto Piedmont glou glou! Abv @ 12.5 🙂 decent dose of acidity keeps the imbiber intrigued! Mountain grown nebbiolo or Prunent "as they call it" plus some croatina thrown in for good measure! — 4 months ago

(I'm) Perfetto Valpolicella Classico Superiore Corvina Blend 2021

Classic old-style lighter Valpo. Cherry, almond, bitter herbs, and gravel on the nose. Bright and almost ethereally textured on the flowing palate. Nice acids, and a slightly bitterish cleansing close. Imperfect? No, perfect. (The 9.3 doesn’t reflect that this is as complex or complete a wine as, say, a Burgundy or Napa Cab to which I might give the same rating, but that it is exactly what it is supposed to be and I’m enjoying it for that.) — 6 months ago
