We first had this in Amboise, France. I did find a bottle in the US. Opened it today and makes me remember why we loved it so much. Juicy and red fruits. Still has some structure as a 9 year old wine. Very nice acidity. Lots of raspberry and cassis notes. We enjoyed it on our patio! — 16 days ago
Some of the Loire crunch has smoothed out over 9 years, leaving an opaque unfiltered pretty wine with shy aromatic nuances and plenty of residual life, fruit, and vibrancy in the palette. Peppery cherry cough drops, cedar, and chalky minerals. — 6 months ago
Love this stuff: underrated varietal & Bossard is a master: pale straw colored, fresh citrus, salinity & minerals galore. This is a lean angular assassin. We had fish tacos - just fantastic. These are age-worthy so no hurry to drink — 3 months ago
14 years in, this is taut minerality with some floral as well, great acidity, still has some time to go, though I’d say it’s mature now, very nice!! — 4 months ago
Great aromatics- orange peel and vanilla creamsicle and pear, very textural, but this is lacking in acid and mineral structure. Has that 2018 ripeness that takes so many loire Chenin over the top to my palate. — 3 years ago
