so good! 17 years was worth the wait!! drinking beautifully right now with no decant and open for half hour. Still lots of length. everything you want in Chataeuneuf du Pape…. — 3 months ago
Pop and pour. An enticing deep ruby red color. On the nose: brambly cherry, floral, cloves, touch of funky earth. Taste: dark cherry, cedar, minerals, planting soil, baking spice with just a little tannic kick. Nice solid Burg with a better score to come. — 8 months ago

Popped and poured from a half bottle; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The “Oeil de Perdrix” is made in the saignée method and pours a pale copper/pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of strawberry, raspberry, pink pepper, lemon, and chalky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A lovely expression of a Blanc de Noir Rosé from Bouzy. Disgorged April of 2023. — a month ago
