Touch Brettanomyces, aka horses ass but otherwise flawless and very tasty. 13.5%. Comes across as a red Burgh. NSG. Inky and dark. Tannins fully resolved. Velvety, Blackberry, dark 🍒. Leather. — a month ago
Bright notes of cherry and red fruit, acidic but balanced. Great with Taiwanese food - 2003 — 5 months ago
Popped and poured. This is a bit unusual as it’s a Pinot Blanc and then even more unusual that it was released as a Special Club. The 2017 vintage may have something to do with the focus on Pinot Blanc though I have no information to back that up. Redolent of stone fruits on the nose with mostly white peach and some apricot; both mostly on the slightly underripe end of the spectrum. Lemons and chalky minerals too. Acid is medium(+?). The finish is long and slightly bitter. Pretty fun to drink and probably at its best now or over the next 5 years. Disgorged 10/2021 — 3 years ago
Deep ruby in color; cherries, blackberries, and cassis on the nose; medium acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like plums, black currants, vanilla, and graphite with a long finish. — 2 months ago
The best for the price I’ve enjoyed for a long time. — 6 months ago
Dark cherry red with transparent edge. Oak and complexity, tree’s skin. Spices. Fern. Earthy. Still fruity. Quite smooth. After 3 hours decanting, real taste showed up. Concentration, juicy characteristic. Louis Remy Latriciere Chambertin 94 @19580, Chitos, 241103-241231 — 7 months ago
