It is a glorious, clean entrance onto the palate. It is near perfect body. Granny Smith green apple, lime with zest, lemon chiffon, grapefruit, white peach, light tropical melon, cream, beautiful, powdery chalkiness, limestone marl, gentle, white spice white spring flowers, perfect acidity and a well balanced, well made, elegant finish that last 90 seconds and falls gently on soft minerality & light spice. — a year ago
Medium ruby with medium red ruby rim . Quite discreet aroma at first , then red cherry, strawberry , a chalky mineral element , touch of sous bois , and spice. On the palate quite fresh red fruit , strawberry and cherry mostly , quite light bodied with good quite crisp acidity though slightly short on the finish . This is still quite primary , fresh fruit , so good to enjoy now and over the next 5-10 years perhaps . Almost the cheapest of the red burgundies on the (rather expensive !) list here , and a good pick. — 2 years ago
Very nice premier cru Maranges. Looking for value on the list at the Grill isn’t always easy, but there are usually a couple bottles that catch the eye. Delicious fruit, but with a ton of restraint. Deep earth, good acid, definitely some fuller tannins. Very nice pairing with a variety of dishes. Will be better in a few years but very good today too. — a month ago
A soft perfume of honeysuckle, citronella and hazelnut with touches of lemon pledge, lime zest and baked apple - juicy flesh flavors of yellow plum and quince were followed by lip smacking citric acidity, candied ginger, slight minerality and a whisper of toasty oak spice — 8 months ago

Tahiti. Motu is a small, low-lying islet. Schlepped this wine across the equator. As a last toast to my fiends selling their Motu. Although i might be biased when i drank this wine looking at he stars and Elon Musks satellites this was incredibly good. — a month ago
