Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of black and blue fruit, violets, roasted meat, spices, wet stones and tobacco. Flavors of blackberry, blueberry, black raspberry, roasted herbs, black pepper and black olives. Long and savory finish. I was surprised. I asked for whatever Franciacorta they had, she said they only had Trentino opened, they offered this, and I was not disappointed. It was excellent.

Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, herb, tobacco and forest notes, aged 19 months in French oak, 54% new. On the palate flavors of blackberry and blueberry fruit with licorice, cacao, leather and oak, well balanced. Fine ripe tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and spice. A pleasure to drink.
