What a darling #champagne! Nose fairly closed when cold, touches of yeasty notes. Palate is incredible, dosage is perfect, so much verve and energy with fine bubbles on the palate. Need to pick up more of this. #costcowines — a year ago
The Cognac Composition is a very pretty, easygoing introduction to the range of Tesseron Cognacs. Floral and relatively light in body, the Composition offers up hints of charred lemon, sage, chamomile, dried flowers and subtle toast accents. It will do nicely when something simple and light is called for. This is the only Cognac in the Tesseron range that is not X.O. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, December 2022)

Luminous, golden hue. The nose shows freshness and fruit with notes of lemon meringue pie followed by yellow fruit such as Mirabelle plums. Then, as the Champagne warms up, aromas of plums with slightly honeyed and toasted notes start to come through. The Champagne confirms its richness and volume. The Pinot Noir endows it with structure and depth. Hawthorn and white flower aromas fuse naturally together in a fine acidity sustained by citrus fruit. — 5 months ago
Quite light straw colour , very fine persistent mousse . Quite discreet on the nose at first , then camomile , white flowers then deeper yellow fruits, brioche and citrus peel . More yellow fruits on palate , citrus peel. Dense , broad shouldered and mouth filling are all adjectives that come to mind but all balanced by good acidity, tension, plus lots of backbone . More mineral with slightly toasty brioche touches on the finish, good length , though not as long as the Bollinger Grande Année 2014 had last week. Really young , needs time but shows it’s quality . Better in 7- 10 years , I would imagine , will plateau for a further 10 at least — 2 years ago
Великолепный коньяк. Лучше всоп не проблвал — 2 months ago
Popped and poured to celebrate a pretty cool personal and professional achievement; enjoyed over a two hour period. This particular bottle has been stored in my cellar since release. The 2004 “La Grande Dame” pours a brilliant yellow color with medium+ viscosity and a persistent mousse of fine bubbles. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of golden raspberry, Meyer lemon, some apple, some brioche and nuts; just a touch oxidative. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. However, I feel compelled to share that this gave me the overall impression of a sort of liquid lemon-raspberry custard croissant with shaved almonds on top. It was awesome. The finish was long and there is some palpable density in this wine. So much so that I think these easily have another 10-15 years in them. That being said, this was yummy and I wouldn’t hesitate to enjoy now. — 7 months ago
A real vinous sparkling wine. Extra dry. Beautiful pale dress, fine but numerous bubbles. Very expressive nose of peach, pear, candied citrus, brioche, dried fruits, hazelnut, and a saline touch, which extends on a sharp final. With 5 years of aging 2017, offers unity and a beautiful relief. Ideal to accompany a meal. Relevant alternative to Champagnes, especially in terms of its price!
— 2 years ago

Lot 53 is from 1953. This does flirt with perfection. A rich, complex spherical Cognac. Fantastic stuff! — 23 days ago
