Just perfect balance between the sweetness and the fruit. Peach, apricot, and pineapple wine with an extraordinary complexity. A great sweet wine that went perfectly with Roquefort. — 2 months ago
Candied lime. Wet limestone. Great balance of citrus, minerality, and acidity. — 3 months ago
Ripe peach and grapefruit with a hint of apricot. On the first night the sweetness dominated (we mainly drink dry Riesling). This was 8.5% ABV with plenty of residual sugar, but on the 2nd night not tasting as sweet. Purity verging on crystalline. Medium plus palate intensity. A class act typical of JJ PRUM. I’m not sure if I have chosen the right title here. There was nothing “Trocken” (Dry) about this Riesling. — 6 months ago
Medium lemon , touches of gold , quite young looking . Really aromatic with candied peel , marzipan , white flowers , baked apple, orange peel . On the palate this is quite sweet and rich , but with high balanced acidity . Candied peel , baked apple , barley sugar , camomile . Quite intensely sweet finish , but with good underlying bracing acidity . Lightness of touch with great intensity . Still pretty young and sweet . Petrol undertones show first, lovely apricot aromas and flavors, this is still incredibly youthful, this wine will probably outlast me, long, lingering finish, but this really holds at the sweetness level (Spatlese) and isn’t in any way cloying, great juice!! — 15 days ago
