Smells like burgundy and offers tart cherries and raspberry with a spicy note. pretty long. Really nice! — 2 months ago
The 2022 Thivin Brouilly (Reverdon) delivers a savory mouthful of eye catching, ruby/purple Gamay. Though aromatically reticent (I did not decant or aerate), it is balanced and medium bodied with ample fruit, juicy acidity and soft, drying tannins at the finish. — 2 months ago
Good, still very primary. Lots of fruit, but lacking a bit of acid. I have one bottle left that I’ll leave for a bit. Curious how this will turn out in the long run. — 15 days ago
A dark Gamay. Great cherry finish. Nice with pasta. October 2024. — a month ago
Dynamite showing. Nose is deep, layered and complex with red cherries and forest floor. Wow. Wet earth as well. Really glorious and showing so well and developed. Palate is so elegant and full of class. Rich, red cherries and a creamy mid palate lead to a super velvet finish and fruit floods the zone only to finish elegant and mineral with sweet, sappy and wispy tannins. Just a gorgeous showing. So juicy yet decadent. Really leans into the vintage. — 2 months ago
Fun and funky. A little yeasty but overall a solid natural beaujolais — a month ago

What a pair w/ Crostini, Chervil Sheep Cheese & Duck Confit. 👌
Dark, juicy, lush to mid fruit core, dark cherries, strawberries, hues of blueberries, raspberries, limestone, softened granitic earth, deeper red cola, black & red licorice, baseball card bubble gum, understated fresh herbs, dark, rich, sweet earth, hints of maple syrup, tree bark w/ sap, dark & red florals for days, excellent, round acidity and a well made, balanced, relaxed tension, polished, lush finish that lasts 90 seconds. Delicious.
This is better than some premier cru red burgundies for far less $.
Absolutely one of the top three producers of Grand Cru Gamay. — 20 days ago
