One of our favorite Spanish reds. — 2 months ago
Vintage 2022. Crisp, with some minerality. Love that it’s low sugar. Purchased at Trader Joe’s May 2024. — 2 years ago
The 2022 Viognier K Art Den Hoed is spicy in the glass, wafting up with exotic florals, lime and young peach. It’s nearly glycerol in feel, with saline minerals and zesty acidity to balance. Sour citrus offsets ripe pit fruits. This tapers off spicy with medium-length and dried apricot notes. $20.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, August 2023) — 3 years ago
Medium body red, moderate legs, earthy red fruit, herbaceous mid notes with a citrusy finish. This is easy to sip on Julie’s front porch. — 5 years ago
Similar to a Pinot noir. Earthy, good stuff — 6 years ago
Great wine, probably past its prime time, but still aromatic, well balanced with lime notes. — 19 hours ago
On paper they say 08 wasn’t a good vintage but hey I love it. Old vine Reynard is excellent in 2008 showing all the Allemand sigs with dark fruit, olive tapenade and a liquid rock minerality. 08 is particularly Bordeaux like and not at all thin—that magical Reynard vineyard really ups the concentration of any vintage. Always a thrill to drink Allemand, my favorite Syrah. — 5 months ago

Great depth and flavor. Def buy again — 5 years ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90min. The 2024 “White Hill” pours a pale straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with bright notes of star fruit, passion fruit, stone fruits, lemons, a touch of freshly struck matchstick, some white flowers and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and slightly saline. I love the character of these wines. Really tasty stuff. Drink now through 2034+. — 2 months ago
Nicely aromatic & restrained (for Australia) with purity of dark fruit (blackberries, plums, mulberry), nice depth and excellent tannins quality - juicy, polished, finely grained.
Very elegant & with beautiful balance between the ripeness & savoury notes.
A really lovely wine! — a year ago
Quite nice. L’Etoile. — 3 years ago
Lovely Aussie Cab. Not too big and overbearing. Ripe red currant, eucalyptus and smoke. — 3 years ago
This wine has bright acidity, notes of citrus, green apples, yellow pears and white flowers. Which went very
well with the grill fennel with mustard seeds sauce and prosciutto, sweet potatoes, portobella mushrooms and skirt steak which was season with just salt, pepper and some mustard seeds. This wine is very well structured and the flavors are intense with earthy and mineral driving finish which went great side by side the stake. — 5 years ago
