Unbelievable, incredibly smooth with low acid, cherry notes at the tail end. Great vintage — 4 days ago
Good jammy flavor to sip on, fuller body than other Pinot Noirs. Sweeter. Drank in the Escape lounge at CMH with Zack the bartender in July 2024 after Kaitlin O’Hara’s wedding — 2 days ago
Light ruby red color. Ripe red berry and cherry fruit on the nose with additional notes of cola and sweet baking spices. Bright red cherry fruit leads the palate with hints of tobacco, pine and those sweet baking spices. Nice mineral component on the medium-long finish. Fine grained tannins. Fresh and earthy. — 6 days ago
I pulled this from the cellar on Father’s Day; toasting the year I became a dad. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 2006 pours a deep ruby color with a near opaque core and a magenta rim; medium+ viscosity with faint staining of the tears and lots of fine sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with powerful notes of tart dark fruits: brambles, montmornecy cherries, tobacco, dry earth, and baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and zippy with tongue smacking acid. The 2006 Rafanelli Zinfandel is in a seriously great spot right now and well stored examples should hold in this position easily through the rest of this decade. Great with pizza. Drink now through 2031+. — a month ago
Lovely balanced cab from one of my favorite vineyards. It used to be my daily drinker until Beringer doubled the price. Got this one at Costco for $14 and it drinks like a classic $30 Napa Cab. Finished the last glass after bottle was open for 3 days and it was highly enjoyable! great bouquet and long aftertaste. — 8 days ago

Sipping Fine Wine
A blend from several vineyards, including Middle Reach, Green Valley, Santa Rosa Plain, and the Laguna Ridge area. Bright Ruby color, purple edges, with aromas of ripe fruits, floral and complex spice. On the palate concentrated flavors of raspberry, cherry and currants with pepper, tea, herbs, vanilla and oak, aged on French oak, soft tannins on well balanced structure. Full body, rich long finish, ending with spice, ripe fruit and oaky tones. Very Nice! — 13 days ago
