#AgedWineTuesday
Very light salmon in color.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing.
Very dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing raspberries, limes, citrus, green apples, yeast, brioche, spices and minerals.
Still very young and needs 10 years in the bottle to mature properly. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 25 years.
A blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay.
12% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Great bottle, a bit on the oxidative side but very complex and long, we liked it a great deal. — 4 days ago
Initially nice with red fruits, opening up with more forest floor after about 15 mins. 30 mins later, the heat of the vintage comes out. So, really enjoyable, but only for a pretty narrow window of time. — 9 days ago
Light citrus and lemon and with crisp acidity and a touch of pear. — 20 days ago
Medium ruby in color; cherries, hibiscus, and dried herbs on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like raspberries, red currants, and wet slate with a long finish. — a day ago
Depth and concentration, this bottle is an ode to south saint joseph wines, with great balance and complexity. To achieve a better grade I need more finesse, but the vintages is also like that — 2 days ago

Not really a time for celebration given the recent events, but life is too short no to live in the moment.
I thought this cuvée has higher % of PN, but it does not seem to be the case for 2005 (can’t fine the exact blend for the vintage) as it shows prominent apple and citrus notes. Peach, pomelo, brioche, and white flowers as well. Very intense yet quite refined on the palate with chalky minerals. The finish is precise and long. — a month ago
