De l'Orée Ermitage Blanc Marsanne 2005

Pale color. Almost transparent yellow but still with a thickness and a heft. I love the Marsanne grape and its punchiness and complexity. This wine has developed nicely and is ready for prime time. Lemon and other citrus notes. Lingers and was the perfect compliment for lemon and egg tagliatelle. — 14 days ago

Le Méal Blanc Hermitage Marsanne 2017

Light gold; open nose highlighting white flowers; surprisingly, almost delicate, flowery palate with plenty of spice and orchard fruit and mineral. Grew larger with time. Enjoyed at Club Gascon, London. — 2 months ago

La Bernardine Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2013

Medium ruby in color; blackberries, plums, dried herbs, and baking spices on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like lavender, blueberries, dark chocolate, camphor, graphite, and clay pots with a long finish. Even more complex after an hour long decant. I love this wine. Paired well with a steak. Nellie liked it with steak. — a month ago
