Intense. More stones than fruit, the Schlossberg’s pure-granite calling card. Some petrol. Open-knit enough to keep you coming back. — 2 years ago
2018 vintage, deep gold color, honey, petrol and peach on the nose. Medium plus acid, taste of pineapple, exotic fruit and honey. Creamy and vibrant. It reminded me of Sauternes but dry. — 6 months ago
Light and easy red with fruit and bit of earth and effervescence. — 2 years ago
Not the most complex but lots of fragrance and flavor. Nose sprints out of the gate with sappy cherry, moist humus earthiness, baking spice, and a whiff of vanillin oak. Palate is higher-toned than I expected, with stone-dust-infused bright cherry fruit. Finish is quite clingy. A bit of ultra-soft tannin is detectable. Good acids. — 9 months ago
