The 2019 Rosso di Montalcino is dreamy, wafting up with dusty rose, crushed cherries and sage. This flows across the palate with ease, energetic and lifted with a solid core of ripe wild berry fruits that slowly drench the palate in youthful tension. A coating of fine-grained tannins remains offset by a bump of residual acidity, tapering off spicy and long. This is maturing beautifully in bottle. (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2024)

Vintage 2016 | I am learning on Nebbiolo and this is good practice material. See the description of 2016 of @Lyle Fass very adequate. A treat! — 25 days ago

Deep Ruby color with berry fruit, fragrant spice and earthy cedar notes. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry, plum, leather and cacao with notes of floral spice. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, tobacco and cedar wrapped in an earthy herb mineral spice character. Drinking well. — 6 months ago
Definitely easy drinking, good with some pasta or variety of foods. Would go with an older vintage if affordable — 11 days ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90min. The 2020 Langhe Nebbiolo “Pian delle Mole” pours a pale garnet with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe red fruits: Morello cherry, loads of tar, dusty earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose though the red fruits show more like ripe strawberry. Finish is medium. Drink now. — 5 days ago
