NV What a good effort of the cooperative from d’Orschwiller. Very refreshing and festive bubbly from Pinot Blanc and Pinot Auxerrois. Got Gold from Gilbert & Gaillard. Expressive mousse. The muselet says ‘Amour’ and that’s a good attitude to this Cremant. And life of course… have a good Sunday. Paired with scrambled eggs for breakfast. — 3 years ago
Almost dessert-like with a rich, sweet, pear and honey finish. — 22 days ago
Perhaps something is off with my palate today, but tasting one of the world‘s great rieslings was a massive disappointment. Can’t get past the extraction and the insanely high alcohol that dwarfs the moderate acidity and faint minerality. Highly extracted phenolics. Least disappointing of the lineup, but worst once you factor in price — 7 months ago
Medium light straw with green reflexes . Quite fresh and stony , green apple , light white flowers , hint of petrol , but overall quite strict and closed . On the palate this has high acidity and a stony , green apple and lemon pith, white peach. Quite strict and fine , linear in style . Stony oyster shell , apple peel finish . Very young needs a bit of time to round out . Quite lean but will probably fill out in a few years , quite good saline tinged length. Come back in 5 years, will last well a further 10. — 2 months ago
Tangerine, tangerine zest,, some brioche notes (?), some elderflower flower touches too. It's not your typical riesling nose but it's quite interesting and appealing. The palate shows a good acid drive, some nice and pleasing mouthfeel, some tangerine and lemon curd touches, almost a sweet layer in the rear, before a long, rather fresh, tangerine forward finish. It went super well with sushis and especially against a pretty dark and salty soy sauce 👍🏻. — 2 years ago

Light Golden color, apricot, jasmine, and peach compote. Complex with a long finish and string of acid throughout. Just Divine. Hard to imagine Alsace gets much better than this ! — 12 days ago
