Friendly and fruty (strawberries), opens after two hours and becomes more complex — 8 months ago
A great blend of five grapes. Enjoyed with grilled chicken thighs and oven roasted mushrooms. Combo of berries and a hint of pepper. Smooth and stately finish. — 9 months ago
This Cabernet begins with a glistening dark amethyst color followed by a bouquet of sweet cigar, clove, ripe blackberry, and a pinch of Madagascar vanilla. On the palette, blackberry, jammed plum, French oak and tobacco…a full bodied wine with an exceptional finish that continues to linger until the next sip! — 2 years ago
Sweet aroma explosion. Light honey, Mirabelle plums, apricots, white tea, candied orange peel, yet it remains so fresh.
On the palate this is so balance, so juicy, v. sweet to still fresh. And there’s depth, a hint of tannic structure, a stony, mineral finish.

Pretty remarkable. I’ve never been able to try an old one of these before, but I’ve always understood. They aged like champs and this thing was crazy. It tasted and looked like it could’ve been bottled last week. If you have any that have been well stored there’s absolutely no rush. — 9 months ago

This is the closest I’ve ever come to Coche-Dury in a glass without actually drinking Coche-Dury. Same electric mineral snap. Same charged, high-tension citrus and stone. Same feeling of a white wine lit from within, like the whole thing is running on buried voltage. I am now on a mission to find this wine, because once you taste a Bourgogne Blanc that opens a little side door to Meursault heaven, you do not just shrug and move on. — 4 months ago
