Terrific perfume on the nose of flowers, green apple, gorgeous mineral and sea air. Very alpine but also some Rully thrown in. Palate is round and rich but very fresh and with great amplitude. Sipping Fine Wine

Ruby color with aromas of dark red fruits, forest floor notes and herb spice, barrel-aged 10 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with leather, pepper, tea and herb spice. Fine tannins, long finish, well balanced with acidity, ending with fruit, herb, spice and earthy character. Nice! — 5 months ago

Nose has sweet minerals.

Palate is fresh apple. Very mineral. Some mountain stream. As this opens it adds richness and complexity. Extremely sprightly. Some lovely mild chalkiness.

Great change of pace wine. Im having with Chinese comfort food. Singapore chow mei fun.

Among my favorite Renaissance wines, surpassed perhaps only by the 2001. Still loads of sweet piquant red and black cherries, currants, stewed plums, dried meat, mesquite wood, chocolate, wet earth, graphite and iron. Tannins have dropped out (as evidenced by the loads of sediment) leaving a velvety smooth texture. Not falling off a cliff but should be enjoyed soon — 4 months ago

Medium golden color. Expressive aromas of lime, lemon and flint. The complex palate features grapefruit, almond and roasted coconut. Lovely mineral note on the finish. Nice creamy texture. My first cult rosé. Hefty from all perspectives: eye, nose and palate. Flourishing, strawberry, cherry, some cinnamon and pepper as well. On the palate it drinks more like a light red than a rosé with lots of ripe strawberries and maraschino cherries but good acidic balance and even some tannins with a licorice finish. Even needed a good hr to open up. Pleasant mind bender for sure. Cheers. — 5 months ago

Palate: very bright. Young. Very fresh crunchy cherries.

As this opens this silky graphite early season cherry thing. Very distinctive.

I think this could be much better in 3 years in a sort of Burgundian sense. Very elegant for. St Joseph. Very red fruited.

Light ruby dress. Red fruits, cranberry, cherry. Alcohol 12 abv. Slightly smoked, mineral, undergrowth, coal. Sweet spices, cloves, black cardamom, cola. A PN that transcribes with purity and simplicity an altitude terroir with chalky basements expressing itself here in the form of a lively and sharp acidity with many facets, recalling in some aspects the Pinots-Noirs of Alsace. Simple, sincere, nuanced profile type "old world" very good quality/price ratio. To drink a little refreshed.

Robe rubis légère. Fruits rouges, canneberge, cerise. Alcool 12o. Légèrement fumé, minéral, sous-bois, charbon. Épices douces, girofle, cardamome noire, cola. Un PN qui transcrit avec pureté et simplicité un terroir d’altitude aux sous-sols crayeux s’exprimant ici sous la forme d’une acidité vive et tranchante aux multiples facettes, rappelant par certains aspects les Pinots-Noirs d’Alsace. Simple, sincère, profil nuancé type “ancien monde” très bon rapport qualité/prix. À boire un peu rafraîchi. — 2 years ago
