This wine had great smoothness to it. Balsamic and savory flavors coupled with some dark cherry fruit flavors.

This wine really hit on all cylinders given the age.

Very good Rosso di Montalcino! Especially with hard cheese and Italian bread! Would also be great with pasta, grilled meats, etc al. Just okay as a sipping wine but comes alive with food!Cherries, brambley fruits, low tannins, good qpr especially as compared to Brunello! — 11 days ago

Dried Bing and Lapin cherries on the nose with hints of fig.
Plums, dark cherries, tobacco, sandalwood and dried roses.
Smooth well developed tannins combining well with persistent, yet still mouth watering acidity.
Such a gentle, smooth and refined finish.
It hurts me to say this is my last bottle.
