@Bob McDonald, I hate when @Delectable Wine dumps my responses too early, but Stephane Ogier and his Cote Roties are legendary — some of my wine group members used to attend the annual January “Marche aux Vins” in Ampuis, France, every other year (2005/2097/2009/2011), an incredible event in the local high school basketball gymnasium (which limited overcrowding), held in January usually the last weekend in January. Taste, buy, visit producers by setting up appointments, Friday night through Monday noon (or so), on Monday they’d be pouring barrel samples of the new vintages.
Anyway, here’s a link you can translate into Australian (oh, yeah, English — LOL) with ticket info, it used to be 10€ per day, including tasting glass, sure it’s gone up, but an amazing event!! Here’s the link — https://www.cote-rotie.com/marche-aux-vins/ )
