Very good, especially at the price (21.99 P&P). Cherry, menthol, clove…big and bold. Soft tannins, long finish. Enjoyed with fresh baked sourdough bread and creamy cauliflower /potato soup (ty Roosters) and Taralli crackers with pesto goat cheese). — 7 months ago
Classic color. Fruit of blood orange, cherry. Notes of rose petals, eucalyptus. Forward tannins — 7 months ago
Cherry, raspberry, currant, blackberry and oak. Medium-bodied and soft tannins. — 9 months ago
Solid Barolo. 50 euros in a restaurant. Light and not super bold like most Barolos, but pleasant. — a year ago
Light yet delicious — 2 months ago
Deep Ruby color with berry fruit, fragrant spice and earthy cedar notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, plum, and licorice with notes of herb pepper spice. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, tobacco and cedar wrapped in an earthy herb mineral spice character. Starting to drink well now, will age. — 5 months ago
First of the backyard Barolo tasting…..Good wine but not Barolo-esque at all, very light, can tell from the color, and matches on the palate. Served with the cheese which I think was the right call — a year ago
