This is still young but drinking superbly. Plenty of acidity to offset the sweetness, very long finish. Aromas and flavors of pineapple, orange blossom, honey, peach, apricot, dried apricot, ripe pear, candied lemon, ginger, saffron, vanilla - so much going on in the glass! Exceptional wine with excellent balance of sweetness, flavor intensity and acidity. Has many years ahead of it but hard to resist now. — 9 months ago

In the heart of the Chianti lies Estate of Sette Ponti, 15 miles northwest of the city of Arezzo, past village of San Giustino Valdarno. Has 10% Merlot, aged in French Allier barriques, deep Ruby with red fruit aromas and floral notes. On the palate blackberry, plum and cherry flavors with blossom notes, spice and fine integrated tannins. Good balance, long finish ending with some oak and mineral tones. Nice! Will age a bit! Blend of blend of 60% Carricante, 25% Catarratto, 10% Grecanico and 5% Minnella, aged in French oak for 10 months. Pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits adding honeysuckle blossom. On the palate flavors of apple, apricot and lemon citrus with creamy vanilla wrapped in generous acidity, long finish ending with wet stone minerality. Nice! — 3 months ago

Pale ruby color- very translucent. Had to give this one a 30 min. decanting. Muted red fruit flavors, black olive, floral notes and earthy. The 10 years has given this some interesting flavors of cranberry, cherry, baking spices and a red fruit finish. — 4 months ago
