The 2019 Rosso di Montalcino is dreamy, wafting up with dusty rose, crushed cherries and sage. This flows across the palate with ease, energetic and lifted with a solid core of ripe wild berry fruits that slowly drench the palate in youthful tension. A coating of fine-grained tannins remains offset by a bump of residual acidity, tapering off spicy and long. This is maturing beautifully in bottle. (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2024)

Definitely easy drinking, good with some pasta or variety of foods. Would go with an older vintage if affordable — a day ago
A surprisingly balanced ‘15, aging beautifully. Much to taste and think about. A true pleasure, refined, nuanced and taking center stage — 21 days ago

Vintage 2016 | I am learning on Nebbiolo and this is good practice material. See the description of 2016 of @Lyle Fass very adequate. A treat! — 15 days ago
