The 2019 Rosso di Montalcino is dreamy, wafting up with dusty rose, crushed cherries and sage. This flows across the palate with ease, energetic and lifted with a solid core of ripe wild berry fruits that slowly drench the palate in youthful tension. A coating of fine-grained tannins remains offset by a bump of residual acidity, tapering off spicy and long. This is maturing beautifully in bottle. (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2024)

Deep Ruby color with berry fruit, fragrant spice and earthy cedar notes. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry, plum, leather and cacao with notes of floral spice. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, tobacco and cedar wrapped in an earthy herb mineral spice character. Drinking well. — 4 months ago
Post Soldier’s Wish wine. Really smooth cab. Wish it was with a steak. — 15 days ago
Apricot, peach and camomile on the nose and palate. Presents regal density and viscosity on the mid palate. Finishes with roasted almonds and soft acidity. Caresses the palate in all the right ways. — 3 months ago
