Hard to find Extra Brut in 375 ml’s where I shop and seek online. This is very solid always. Bouzy also one of my favorite places for champagne.
For a Pinot that is 80% of the blend here, you sure get lots of green apple, golden apple & apple cider. There is noticeable tangerine, white citrus blend-lemon, lime & both grapefruits. Ginger & ginger-ale, sea fossils/spray, limestone marl w/ bits, bread dough to baguette crust, graham cracker crust, malt, volcanic minerals w/ash, lighter caramel, butterscotch candy, vanillin, frothy cream, white orchids and spring flowers, lively, zippy acidity, well; toned, structured, balance with a beautiful two- minute finish that lands on minerals & spice. — 3 months ago
This is precise, acidic, long finish. Notes of citrus, green apple, salinity, toast and just right amount of dosage. — 3 months ago
A small portion of Pinot Noir (which makes up approximately 80% of the blend) still wine is added for color; the balance is Chardonnay. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The Grand Rosé pours a pretty pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of raspberry, red apple, a mix of orchard citrus fruit, marzipan, a hint of brioche and lovely minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and round. Very easy to like. Drink now. Disgorged February of 2025. — 6 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The “Grand Cellier” pours a pale straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of bright, tart fruit: green apple, star fruit, Meyer lemon, a whiff of brioche, and chalky, limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. I freaking love Vilmart. Drink now through 2038. 2006 vintage. Cork easy to extract. A rusty rosé color. Slightly dirty/earthy with light-medium body and still plenty of acidity to shepherd the proceedings along in a timely manner. Excellent depth on the finish and well-integrated perfume in the bouquet. Another solid 5-6 years at this level before any noticeable drop-off. 2.14.26. — 7 months ago

Pale lemon in color.
Strong nose and medium in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity, and medium plus size bubbles.
Showing limes, lemons, green apples, light earth, yeast, herbs, light brioche and minerals.
Nice finish with limes and light marzipan notes.
This is a very tasty 10 year old Champagne. Rich and fresh tasting. Complex and interesting.
Still very young, and needs 5 years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
Easy drinking, nicely balanced and better after 45 minutes of airtime.
Good by itself or with food.
A blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. Aged for 6 years on the lees. Disgorged in 2023.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.
