I don’t typically like sweeter entries but this one worked. — 5 months ago
Opened and decanted two hours prior to service; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 1997 “Vigneto Brich Ronchi” pours a deep, hazy garnet color with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears and some signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of ripe and desiccated black and red fruits: Blackberry, Morello cherry, bruised strawberry, dried roses, tar, leather, potting soil, and subtle warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. The finish is long and savory. This is in a lovely spot. Drink now through 2027. — 7 days ago
Wow. Still so youthful! Excellent structure to this wine. — 4 months ago
The 2017 was opened for a quick glass, and then gassed for overnight storing. Day 2: It has an engaging ruby/garnet color, perfumed red/blue aromatics, and confirming red/blue fruit flavors. Solidly structured and well balanced with crisp acidity and soft mouth coating tannins at the satisfying finish. Irrespective of vintage, Bucerchiale never fails to deliver, always showing well above its price point. The 2017 vintage is no different. — 4 hours ago
Absolutely delicious, high toned, super herbal rossese — 3 days ago
See previous Note. Old plummie, red cherry notes. Barb said dusty and pine needles. A cooler vintage. I said red cherries and freshly tilled loam. As Galloni said “In 2010 Ama did not bottle their single vineyard selections. All the best fruit went here.” Tasting more the quality of a Brunello than a Chianti Classico. No. 6 in Wine Spectators Top 100 for 2015. — 3 months ago

Bright garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas and flavors of red cherry/raspberry, plums, leather, rose petals and black licorice. Wonderful earthy element on the long finish. Fine silky tannins and beautifully light bodied. Extremely well integrated, long lasting and elegant. Quite the crowd pleaser. — 11 days ago
