2022 vintage. Not quite as integrated as the same vintage Meursault VV offering. This has more overt focus on citrus fruit currently. Feel like this wine just needs 6 months to tie up some loose ends and then it'll be a no-brainer. That citrus fruit will still feature, just not as prominently. 05.23.25. — a month ago
When I taste a wine like this my first reaction is why am I not drinking more Chablis. Opened and the race was on. The quintessential grand cru Chablis. Never stopped putting on weight and complexity . Plenty of life ahead — 16 days ago
Très bon meursault bien sec et assez long — 2 days ago
17. As it should be, but not more. Hope next bottle more exciting. — 2 months ago
Easy to drink on pop & pour for such a young Syrah.
Reminded me a bit of the Domaine Rostaing’s I’ve enjoyed. Ripe black cherry, crème de cassis, violets, lavender, pepper, stem inclusion, notes of roasted chestnuts, grilled meats, iron pan, spices, dark flowers, nice acidity with good balance and elegant finish. — 3 days ago

So, this Sancerre is one of those IYKYK wines that I purchased nearly 20 years ago and lost in my cellar — Edmond Vatan (who I believe has been deceased for some time, his daughter is running the tiny estate these days) made around 500 cases of this amazing Sancerre, but the dumb ass typing this note thought it’d easily last 20-25 years (2002 being a fine Loire vintage) — obviously I significantly miscalculated, as this should have been consumed 10 or more years ago. With that said, with fresh grilled tuna steaks, the wine is standing up well, very nice richness, still excellent acidity. but any freshness has long ago faded. Yet, my admiration for Monsieur Vatan is only enhanced by the fact this shows pretty darn well for a wine not likely intended to be aged as long as the dumb ass typist thought it should!! — 8 days ago
