Mature Syrah exactly as it should be. Patience was rewarded. Tannins softened and the super bright fruit of youth given way to dry versions of themselves with black pepper and meat still showing through with leather and earth. — 6 months ago

219 cases produced. Light yellow, excellent clarity. Aromas of pineapple and guava. Lemon, pomelo pulp and tropical fruit flavors. Dry, almost syrupy mouthfeel, crisp lemon peel finish. Not quite as elegant as the 2016, but a lot to like here. Turning into one of my two favorite white varietals for wine as I drink more examples of these from Isenhower and, occasionally, others in the Pacific Northwest. More Roussanne please. — 4 years ago
100% Cabernet Franc, deep Ruby color with aromas of berry fruit, generous spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with pepper and cinnamon wrapped in floral notes. Fine developed tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit and toasty herb spices. Should age well. — 6 months ago
Very herbal on the nose, medium body with a balance of dark fruit and herbs on the palate, robust without being luscious, good tannins. — 7 months ago
I bought this bottle for a discount as the owner of the shop thought that it was developing a bit of funk. Well, one man's funk is another man's pleasure. I'm not a natural wine dude by a long shot (check the review of any natty wine in my profile!) But this funk is my cup of tea. VA is present and I didn't taste the wine before and maybe the VA masks some of the finer notes but the flavors that it imparts are honeyed vinegar -actually a wonderful balance- think of switchel made with honey instead of molasses- appealingly drinkable. — 6 months ago

Great flavor, buttery, oak and needs some more years. — 4 years ago

A nicely aged wine at its pinnacle. Smooth, integrated tannins with dark fruit and leather. Good acidity but still pleasing without food. Some whisps of smoke on the backend. — 3 months ago
