Really like sparkling wines, I had in the fridge to celebrate the new year a Lambrusco Grasparossa Di Castalvetro, but at the last moment my wife told me "we have to toast with a white sparkling wine, it's better for the universe...", so I looked for this Champagne, not disappointed in absolut, excellent blend of three grapes varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier & Chardonnay, we pair it with strawberries, blueberries and table grapes. Restaurant week at Officina and a perfect wine for our three course meal. Thank you Natalie for the recommendation. Deep ruby red in appearance. Took some time to open up on the nose but showed layers of mocha, floral, touch of minerals, blue and black fruits and spices. Medium tannins (5.5/10) with balanced acidity and a medium plus body. Plush Merlot definitely comes through in the mid palate with black currants, black cherries, chocolate, espresso and a touch of earthiness. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2023.

Crazy good wine for only $60.00 on a wine list. Made up of 50% Sangiovese with the remainder made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, making this a true Super Tuscan Blend. All the Sangiovese is aged in stainless steel while the rest are aged in barriques. This wine is from an area in the southern part of Tuscany called Maremma, more specifically Upper Maremma in the Colline Metallifare zone. Need to find some more of this IGT. Label is designed by Raffaele De Rosa.

Todos los años tenemos una reunión con los amigos del barrio de San Antonio (Los Chapulines), vienen de Europa, Usa o Chile, justamente los de Chile nunca olvidan traerme un vino y se llevan un pisco, que se que lo disfrutan; ojo, Chile es un gran consumidor y nuestro primer comprador de pisco en el mundo.

Volviendo al rosado, lo acompañe con unas berenjenas al horno, queso a discreción, además un; (le llamo pate de berenjena), pero es un mousse de berenjena para untar, delicioso por donde se mire, buena combinación, saludos

50/50 #garnachapeluda and #garnacha machine harvested from 50+ year old vines that began as bush vines and that were later trained on clay and stony soil in the village of Aguarón in Cariñena. 1600 numbered bottles. @vinosdelviento means #wind #wines and it's due to the strong presence of the #Cierzo winds that blow in this region. Clear and bright medium ruby red, light stain, medium tears, medium viscosity, clean powerful aromas of ripe raspberry, strawberry and cranberry with herbal touches of fennel and tea and alcohol. No oak. Dry, medium tannin, medium plus acidity, high alcohol, medium body, round texture, well balanced with an almost candy like sensation of wild berries, medium complexity, long finish. Warm climate, can age for the next 3-5 years. I would have given it a 10 because it's my wine, but on a technical level it's a solid 9.2 — 10 years ago
