Crisp Italian sparkling white, served with Norumbega oysters at the Caring Community Cuisine Café (fka Musette), Cape Arundel, ME — 12 days ago
Excellent wine for the price. Almost has a sutle Merlot taste but without the oaky finish. — 4 days ago
Good, still very primary. Lots of fruit, but lacking a bit of acid. I have one bottle left that I’ll leave for a bit. Curious how this will turn out in the long run. — 23 days ago

Another Southampton special! Creamy and toasty and strong! Delightful. — 6 days ago
One of the 1001 wines. The brilliance of Mesnil is on show in Les Chetillons - let’s not forget that two of the most prestigious Champagnes are from here too, Salon and Krug’s Clos de Mesnil. This is much more reasonably priced than those two. When poured this has a very fine bead with voluminous mousse. The colour of bright straw yellow. The palate had broad developed notes with mushroom and toasted hazelnuts in the aromas. After a while a delightful note of poached pear. — 2 days ago

Robert Biale often makes Zinfandels with surprising finesse and energy. They’re delicious and sexy and well balanced. If you don’t think Zinfandel is worth drinking try any of the Robert Biale versions and let me know if you’ve changed your mind. — 6 days ago
