We thought this was Sangiovese from outside of a recognized DOC, but I guess it’s CS/CF blend. Lots of red fruit on nose: cherry & strawberry, herbs, pepper, quite dusty early on, really needed time to unwind. Earthy, brambly, kinda gnarly, this really evolved over the night. Med weight, dried herbs and red fruit on the mid-palate w/supple tannins leading to modest finish. Interesting, definitely showing some maturity, but unusual given the varietal composition. — 2 months ago

Darker fruit and smoke, lower acidity and beautiful tannins. Still a young wine. — 13 days ago

Spectacular Super Tuscan Red! Blend of Cabernet Franc (60%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) and Petite Verdot (10%). Dark Ruby color with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of dark berry fruit, red and purple flowers, fresh and dried herbs and a nice earthy component. The lush palate includes flavors of black cherry/currant/raspberry along with savory herbs and dark chocolate. Beautiful mineral note on the extremely long finish. Quite intense, powerful and grippy but also very smooth and silky at the same time. Wonderfully complex. Outstanding!! — 3 days ago
