Dry, soft, touch of spice
Very nice — 11 days ago
I think Produttori’s langhe is one of all time best values every year and this is no exception. This has great red and a smidge of purple fruit. Tannins are quite present but with a bit of air they fall into balance (though this could certainly take time). Excellent pairing with a simple but high quality pork chop. Very nice acid on the finish. Really enjoyable. — a month ago
Legit delicious and one of the best I’ve had in a while. Mellow and lush, great rounded acids and softened tannins. Good tar, cocoa powder, prunes, stewed mushroom, soil, dried roses and violets, touch of vanilla. Decanted 4 hours before opening. Probably from Flatiron Wines? Happy Valentine’s Day. 02/14/2025 — 2 days ago
Light red in color with a strong nose.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing red fruits with earth, dark chocolates, peppercorn, herbs, light oak and light vegetables.
Nice finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This young Barbaresco from Piedmont needs a few a years in the bottle to mature properly, but already enjoyable, even by itself.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.
100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged for 2 years in French and Austrian oak barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

From magnum. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of several hours. The 2015 Riserva “Montestefano” pours a bright garnet color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with powerful notes of ripe red and dark fruits: Morello cherry, raspberry, pomegranate, roses, tar, tobacco, and dry earth. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. This was such a fun ride as the hours rolled by and while it is really delicious now, there is a long future yet ahead. Drink now through 2040. Bottle No. 1303/1982. — 7 days ago
